Project Star (San Antonio, TX)

Georgia Mechanical is proud to have played a key role in Amazon’s Project Star, a state-of-the-art, approximately 5 million square foot sort facility. Our work included conditioning the entire building, including the warehouse, with over 100 rooftop units, 11 energy recovery units, VRF systems, and stairwell pressurization. Despite the challenges posed by supply chain disruptions during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, GMI collaborated closely with the general contractor, fellow trades, and suppliers to overcome these obstacles, ensuring the project was completed on time and within budget. for Amazon with the entire building (including warehouse) being conditioned.
